CIRCUMVESUVIANA Metrostar

The ‘Metrostar’ is the mass transit system in Naples operated by the local Authority Circumvesuviana.

Based on a new design platform with modular equipments, Metrostar represents a radical change in image and performances respect to the previous rolling stocks. The exterior design is characterized by a smooth and streamlined body showing the new dynamic image of the metrotrain. An original graphic feature ‘boomerang shape’ is played in headlights and side doors markers. The interior is coordinated with the colours of the exterior livery. Elegance, functionality and ergonomic are the key words that inspired the interior design.
