ICN 2000 Swiss Tilting Train

The Tilting Train ICN 2000 (Inter-City-Neigezug) is a Swiss passenger train commissioned by Schindler Waggon for the Swiss Federal Railways. The train was manufactured by Bombardier in cooperation with Alstom.

The exterior design was developed according to the results of the aerodynamic test sessions. The streamlined shape of the front-end is properly tapered in order to maximize the performances of the train and guarantee stability at high speed, in all the operating conditions.

ICN 2000 gained the prestigious IF Design Award as the best railway vehicle of the year 2000.
